Informatics

The Informatics Group builds systems supporting intermediate and high-throughput experimental platforms at ETC. Using a combination of proprietary, open source and intramural tools, the group designs, implements and supports analysis pipelines, engineers custom database applications and bio- and cheminformatics software, and performs bespoke analysis in these domains. Recognising biotechnology as an exemplar of the knowledge economy, the team has crafted an integrated, paperless, Digital Research Habitat that aims to bring the benefits of electronic knowledge management to ETC scientists.
